Holm Enters Tower Phase at Rainbow Bay

Construction at Holm, Rainbow Bay has progressed strongly, with the project now out of the ground and into the tower phase.

Basement works have been completed, including the installation of the stormwater tank and key in-ground infrastructure, following the erection of the tower crane in late 2025. The ground floor slab pour was completed in March, bringing the structure to street level.

Precast concrete columns and panels are now in place along the western side of the building, with the lower levels, including townhouses, gym and lobby areas, already forming up to Level 2.

Chapter Two director Jon Quayle said the project had now entered a new phase, with the pace of construction set to accelerate.

“We’ve moved out of the ground and into the tower, which is always a pivotal moment on any project,” Quayle said.

“From here, the building starts to rise in a very visible way, with floor plates delivered in regular cycles and the structure really taking shape.”

Recent activity has included the installation of a fixed concrete pump tower and boom, along with perimeter scaffolding, ahead of the Level 1 slab pour scheduled for April.

In parallel, a design variation approved by council will see an additional level introduced, along with enhanced resident amenity, further strengthening the project’s offering at the southern end of the Gold Coast.

“The additional level allows us to enhance the amenity and overall resident experience without materially impacting the delivery program,” Quayle said.

Completion is expected in Q3 2027.
